Celebrate! Our "1000th visitor" give away!

According to Google Analytics, we're about to get our 1000th unique visitor to our blog! You know, the blog we were NEVER going to have? Woo-HOOOO! As of yesterday we've had 2811 visits, with 3873 pageviews and 944 unique visitors. All since September 15th when we figured out how to use Google Analytics.

We got the idea to have a celebration give away from our blog friends and actual neighbors Kari & Kijsa (who have a really cool home decorating blog - make no mistake, I need all the inspiration and help I can get) . Soooooo, if you would like to get a free, autographed and pawtographed copy of Mama Pajama Tells A Story, 2nd edition just post a comment to this thread, and I'll enter you in a drawing. If you already have a copy of the book, I will make you a custom collar like this instead.

It's our way of saying thanks for visiting and thank thanks thanks for spreading the word!

  3. I've added your blog to my daily rotation of sites I visit. It's the only blog I read - I told my husband "the difference between reading a regular blog and a blog by an actual writer is the difference between eating a Hostess Cupcake and a Death-by-Chocolate concoction at a 5 star restaurant." You are the 5-star death-by-chocolate! :-D

  5. Congratulations on nearing the big 1000!! I wish I knew more people who read blogs/blogged, because this is a site that everyone should read. For dog lovers, it's pure delight to hear the stories and experiences of someone who loves their hounds as much as we do!

  11. Hi Patience,
Guess it's time I introduce myself--seeing as though I read your blog almost every day and now feel like we're old friends! My name is Lindsey and I live in Atlanta, Georgia with my 5 and 1/2 year old Whippet, Phoebe (who, might I add, looks strikingly similar to Sam I Am). We enjoy your blog very much and have been meaning to order a copy of MPTaS for several years! Thanks for the wonderful blog and keep the stories coming!

  12. Congratulations on reaching the 1000th visitor. I have both of your books and love reading the blog you would never have. I also have a couple of your collars. One can not have too many of either the great books or the lovely collars.

  14. Count me in and congratulations on your success!! It is well deserved.

Koda likes to hear about your adventures with Stupid City Squirrels. Levin has a bit of a crush on Mama Pajama. He also wants to give a shout out to his look alike, Very Old Dog. Me, I love your ability to capture a dog's soul in your writing. Great blog!

  15. Patience, I absolutely love your blogs and so I know I would LOVE your book - is it for sale in the U.K. bookshops? If not it should be.
The dog collar is beautiful, which tells me you are obviously very keen on your sewing. Please could we hear more on your sewing projects? Perhaps a separate blog?

I don't have nearly as many dogs as you do (well, only 2 actually, but I am campaigning for a third) and only one of them has any whippet in him at all (half whippet)but your stories make me laugh and sometimes cry and always remind me that I am not crazy for loving my dogs so much.
