Oh this is fun! This is one of those blog things that I am slowly discovering.
Linda, at her most delightful Abby Creek Art blog "tagged" me. Here goes:
- I went on my first date with my husband twenty-five years ago. I knew in my deepest soul/heart/gut that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him during the first hour of that first date. After twenty-five years, I still think he is the most admirable, the funniest, the most compassionate, and the smartest person on Earth. I don't know how I got so lucky. I figure he must have been really bad in his last life, or I must have been really good.
- I would rather pick up warm dog poop than cold when using the Baggie Method, but vice versa when using the Scooper.
- I am currently writing a novel about a little dog who has exceptional powers of communication. She starts out in a wonderful, loving home and goes on all sorts of fun adventures but then she gets stolen and ends up in a puppy mill. Sometimes that part is so hard to write, and the research is so gruesome that I just have to stop.
- It is 11:21 AM and I am still in my jammies!
- I talk in my sleep.
Hope I haven't bored you to death. Now I get to do some tagging. Hmmmm. OK, I'm going to tag my funny neighbor, Aynex, and the awesome genius of iList Paducah, Mary, and of course my dearest in the world Bill, and my new dog blog friends Graham, and Asta's Mommi who might tell us a little about her painting???
Thanks, Linda!
Good luck with the writing and the research. I can only imagine how awful it would be to have to look up information on that subject--I'm hoping you don't have to look at pictures or anything.
ReplyDeleteHugs from the Minot crew :)
Oh my gosh, this is too cute. OK, I'm in. I'll come up with something shortly! Thanks for the tag! xooxoxoxmt

This is fun. I'll post something tomorrow as I've wasted enough time today already.
ReplyDeleteYou are all adorable, two leggers and 4 leggers alike. I just get all warm and fuzzie when I read this blog. By the way, I am in my pj's all day sometimes. My two pals are quite warm in their furs but it tickles me to think of them in pj's.
ReplyDeleteKeep being you, the world is a better place.
oh it is lovely to hear about you!
ReplyDeleteAnd to find out we are very similar!
I met my husband ......35 years ago....I was a child bride of course!
And I feel exactly the same as you!
We have been married 30 years last September.....and he is the bestest thing which ever happened to me, and it is 11.16 pm here in Scotland, and I am nearly in my PJs!
love and light from Jeannie in Scotland xxxxxx
oh and much good luck with the research and the book. The Puppy Mills in the UK are called Puppy Farms, there has been one discovered near us here in Dunblane, Central Scotland, and the reports of it coming out are just awful.

Haha - thanks for the tag Patience!
ReplyDeleteIncidentally, I'm going to get your book back from Mum, as I'm ready for it now. Typically, she's carried away with a sewing project at the moment so it'll take her weeks to finish it if I don't just swipe it back!
I love the story of you and your hubby! You are very lucky!
ReplyDeleteYou and I share the same thoughts on dog poop!
You're a riot, Patience!
Maggie and Mitch's mom
Hi Patience,
ReplyDeleteMommy says that she is glad that we run hard enough not to give me enough time to poop outside so she does not have to pick it up!!!
Frasier
Hmm...ur mumsie gives a lot of thought to dog poop. Sorta like Thoreau with a dog...Mumsie said she's absolutely right when it comes to the preferred temperature/ with bag/scooping method. Deer doddlies add to the exisential question of the same....we'll all ponder these thoughts tonight as we watch the snow fall and the fire in the family room.

Patience,
ReplyDeleteI work from home and sometimes find noon has come and the nightgown has not yet gone. Glad the clients can't see!!
I saw you signed the Blainville wire petition. Thank you so much. We've all been so heartsick, not only remembering what happened in the past, but thinking about what could happen again.
Your whippets are so dear. How can you tell that Maria likes to wear her jammies? Just the sixth sense of a Mom?
Joan, writing in lieu of Jake and Just Harry -- with their permission, of course!!
OK, I've returned the Tag favor and passed it on! Thanks, Patience! www.ilistpaducah.blogspotcom! xoxoxomt
ReplyDeleteLove the one about you and Bill! That is so sweet. And I'm with you on the baggie method. HA!
ReplyDeleteHi Patience,
ReplyDeleteI have just put your book down, dashed upstairs to tell you that Graham is NOT getting your book back yet! It is WONDERFUL, hilarious, and he won't be getting it back until I have finished it!!! I am leaving this computer now to get back to it......
Can't wait to read your novel! My Mum says she is writing one too but doesn't spend much time doing it!
