  2. Ditto to the above comment. Nothing is safe from thieves these day, especially something worth a few dollars.

  8. That's a relief! Mom loooooves puppies... she's just awful...

Hey we're back in Louisville right now at the Fairgrounds at the big doggie show and agility trials 'til Sunday (we drive home Monday). Ollie is doing the dog shows and Josie and I are running agility in Broadbent! It's going to be so much fun. I've already met a lot of Bedlington friends, new and old, just today!

  9. What grand news, Patience. Thanks for the heads up. Are you in Louisville for any part of the dog show--if so, good luck.

So now we'll just keep hoping for some good karma for the other baby.

  13. I got an e-mail from Nancy yesterday (don't have a computer at h ome so she may have posted on Sunday) but the gist of the post was that she was contacted by a woman claiming to have bought the second little girl at a Walmart parking lot for $850. Nancy told her that she "got screwed" and talked her down to $550 and now she is home too.

  15. Have they found the other pup?

My Whippet Merlin had an event this Monday. He went down spread eagle and started shaking really bad. I thought he may of had a stroke...

Tuesday morning I took him to the vet. Merlin has arthritis in the spine and maybe a slipped disc. The vet gave me some meds for him and if he doesn't improve in the next few days they want to xray the spine. He is having trouble with his hind legs. He cant get up on the couch or chairs and I am lifting him for that. Merlin is a rescue, so I don't know his actual age but he is about 12 years old.. Please say some prayers for him.
